'Sore Sempurna'
'The Perfect Evening'
Evening is always my favourite time of the day, when the sun starting to set, the sky turn orange, there is a feeling of warmth radiated from the sky. When the last light dissipate in the horizon I find the city of Melbourne at its most stunning form. Wherever you are in the city, the evening light that is reflected in building, leaves and sky makes everything look beautiful. The orange light makes everyone feel warm and comfortable even whether you are walking, sitting down or shopping. Inspired by what I felt, this colourful shot of how different lightning of the evening light touches around the Melbourne CBD will hopefully bring the same feeling of warmth and comfort to the audiences looking at it.
This collection of landscape photography is taken around Melbourne CBD at my favourite time of the day. The subject of the image defers from how I see the evening light at its most astonishing place (light beaming through leaves, glasses and buildings). I visited different location around the city during the evening, places I always come across but felt most pretty in the evening. These are places like the Royal Exhibition Garden, Shrine of Remembrance, Yaara River and even in my friend’s apartment. During the project I experimented with different angles and subject. This is done so that I can help audience feel the same comfort and warmth that I felt from looking at the city from these points of views.
